Food is the main ingredient and at the heart of every community. Essence have the needs of our homeowners and residents and their families at the very core of what we do. This is achieved through communication and the understanding of people and their individual needs.

Creating dishes from scratch, our menus are tailored to suit your needs and appetites.
It is key for us to create a safe, warm, supportive and interactive environment, with enticing and nutritious food, offering both choice and flexibility.

Essence have provided a meal service at one of our Extra Care schemes for the last 3 years, with meals prepared fresh on a daily basis – which are of the highest quality. The staff are friendly, accommodating and cannot do enough to meet our resident’s needs. At a recent meeting residents described the meals provided as ‘first class’ and the chef ‘excellent’!

We have been impressed by the way that Essence have worked with our residents, carrying out individual meetings with each to ascertain their individual dietary requirements, in order to deliver the highest quality service and the ad-hoc service they provide at special times throughout the year, which our residents absolutely love!
