The provenance and origin of our food is key; that is why we are proud to partner and champion local suppliers, farmers and growers for our fresh seasonal produce. We only select the finest quality ingredients from ethically responsible suppliers, that demonstrate high environmental and animal welfare standards. Essence understand that purchasing ingredients should be driven by business demand. We purchase locally and fairly to support your community.

Essence have provided a meal service at one of our Extra Care schemes for the last 3 years, with meals prepared fresh on a daily basis – which are of the highest quality. The staff are friendly, accommodating and cannot do enough to meet our resident’s needs. At a recent meeting residents described the meals provided as ‘first class’ and the chef ‘excellent’!

We have been impressed by the way that Essence have worked with our residents, carrying out individual meetings with each to ascertain their individual dietary requirements, in order to deliver the highest quality service and the ad-hoc service they provide at special times throughout the year, which our residents absolutely love!
