ReadWe are recruiting for Operations Managers to cover various locations throughout the UK.
Purpose of the Job:
• To operate and develop the catering establishments within the defined area to ensure that within the terms of the catering policy and budget, efficient and economic use is made of its resources
• Be responsible for ensuring that the preparation, cooking, portioning and presentation of meals in all units within the defined area, meets the standards and costings as defined by the company
• Ensure the company’s reputation for food quality and service is enhanced with the client and customers
• Make sure all the operations of the catering establishments within the defined area are conducted according to company policy and procedure and the terms of contract
Responsible for:
• All aspects of the operation of contracts within designated area.
• All personnel assigned to work in the catering establishments within the designated area irrespective of whether they are employees of the company, in accordance with company personnel and training policies
• The purchase of materials, consumables, non-consumables and light equipment within budget and in accordance with company purchasing policy and procedures
• The catering establishment’s premises and equipment as defined by the contract and in accordance with company health, safety and hygiene policy
• The security and reconciliation of cash, stock and employees’ wages in accordance with company finance and administration policies
